Grapefruit is a refreshing and reviving oil, citrusy and yet light, and comes from the peel of the fruit. This oil has a great reputation for combating cellulite - try diluting it to 5% in a vegetable base oil, and massaging with firm upward strokes over the affected area twice a day.  This is a good oil to apply (diluted) before and after sport to reduce muscle stiffness. Other associations grapefruit has concern obesity, linked in to tonic effects on the digestion, and congested skin conditions. Vapour from grapefruit oil in a burner can also help hangovers and headaches.     

 

Do not use if epileptic, during pregnancy, or before exposing the skin to sunlight.
